TIMING TEST

• Kelvins 4 Wire Principle is used to for CRM
• All three phases are connected simultaneously during measurement of Timing Test

• 100A or 200A DC Current is Injected in the Circuit
• Then Voltage Drop is measured between the Phase
• Then with Ohms Law, the Resistance is Calculated
• Kelvins 4 Wire Principle is used to for CRM

   A.    Closing Coil  

• Bottom Terminal 5,6  
• Spring Should be charged to get value 
• 64.8Ohm

   B.    Tripping Coil    

• Bottom terminal 3,4
• Breaker Should be ON to get value
• 64.2 Ohm

  C.    Motor Resistance 

• Bottom terminal 1,2
• Breaker should be OFF
• Spring Should be discharged
• 140 Ohm
